Asilomar

Asilomar Conference Grounds

Nestled along the shoreline of California's famed Monterey Peninsula, Asilomar is a tranquil ocean front retreat cradled by forests and white sand beaches.  Asilomar (meaning "refuge by the sea" and pronounced a-SIL-o-mar) State Beach and Conference Grounds sits on 107 acres and offers overnight lodging and views of the forest, surf and sand. To reserve your room for the Bioavailability 2010 conference at Asilomar please complete and return the conference housing form to Asilomar along with credit card information or check.  Please note that the housing form must be submitted directly to Asilomar (not to UC Davis) via mail or fax to:

Rates

Rates for conference participants for Sunday, September 26th, 2010 to Friday, October 1st, 2010 are below:

  • Standard Single Occupancy $ 1,017.80
  • Historic Single Occupancy $ 808.80
  • Standard Double Occupancy $ 630.30
  • Historic Double Occupancy $ 553.30

Note:

  • These prices are for 5 nights and include all meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
  • Accommodation for attendees arriving on September 25th: There is an additional fee of approx $158.  This will include room and tax on the 25th and breakfast on the 26th. This in addition to the cost of the conference as the dates of the conference actually starts on the 26th.  Please send in your housing form directly to Asilomar with a note that you are coming in a night early (Sept 25, 2010).
  • The conference starts on September 26th at 2:00 pm and continues until the evening of September 30th (banquet). Please note that the conference accommodation package includes room on the night of September 30th ; and breakfast and lunch on October 1st. Rates are for full time conference participation. There is no discount for shorter stays.
  • Most units are standard; there are only a few historic units

Housing Information

  • Cancellations within 60 days prior to arrival date forfeit all fees.
  • All cancellations are subject to a $25 per person processing fee.
  • All rates are per person and include lodging, meals and all applicable taxes (subject to change in accordance to State and Local taxes).
  • Meals begin with dinner on the first day and end with lunch on the last day.
  • Check in 3 pm. Check out 12 noon.
  • All guest and meeting rooms are non-smoking.
  • To confirm your reservation, please fill out the housing form and return it directly to Asilomar along with your credit card information or check.
